‘Ghelijck een catte sit en pronct ende loert na de muys’
This exhibition is part of ‘Nocturne’, a reocurring nocturnal vernissage of galeries in Antwerp.
For this solo show in Cabin I have made three new three-dimensional drawings. A diptych which leads you in the present along the locations of the five bastions of the citadel of Antwerp, that were situated in the same area until 1880. And a third drawing of ‘catten en moordkuylen’, two concepts of fortification-terminolgy, which indicate the chosen perspectives.
